KCC director Nancy Kaufman had the time of her life accepting the 2010 Outstanding Alumni Award from the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at her alma mater, Michigan State University. Nancy said it was quite a deja vu to walk in the CAS graduation ceremony and to wear a cap and gown once again. It was also exciting to get to know the faculty of CAS programs and departments and the other award recipients. The Outstanding Alumni Award itself was created out of recycled glass by the EnviroGLAS company, owned by fellow recipient Tim Whaley, which will be a very special momento of the honor. Nancy looks forward to continuing the KCC's relationship with MSU and especially the graduate program in communication sciences and disorders. ![]() 2010 Outstanding Alumni Award winners. ![]() Graduation ceremony for the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State. ![]() Nancy at the graduation podium. ![]() Nancy on the big screen! ![]() The Kaufman family, supporting Nancy from the audience. ![]() Nancy with Pamela Whitten, Dean of the College of Communication Arts and Sciences. ![]() The Kaufman Family at Michigan State University. ![]() Nancy with Jillian Harris from the television reality show "The Bachelorette," who attended MSU's graduation weekend. ![]() Nancy with Pamela Whitten, Dean of the College of Communication Arts and Sciences, and Ed Cohen, President of the Alumni Board. ![]() 2010 winners of the Outstanding Alumni Award. ![]() Nancy and Ed Cohen, president of the MSU Alumni Board. |
