The following positions are currently open at the Kaufman Children’s Center. Please read each for individual application details.

The KCC is seeking a passionate, results-driven board-certified behavior analyst who is ready to join our team of dedicated supervisors and change the lives of young children with ASD.


We provide comprehensive early intervention using both center and home-based applied behavior analysis treatment. Our ABA program boasts two dedicated ABA-trained speech-language pathologists who work as part of our team in daily collaboration with ABA supervisors. Our children receive ABA, speech and occupational therapy under one roof for optimum carryover and generalization across settings.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assess skills using VB-MAPP (Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program)
  • Conduct behavioral assessments (FBA) and develop behavior intervention plans (BIP)
  • Generate treatment plan to improve socially-significant behaviors across several domains
  • Obtain initial and concurrent authorizations for ABA treatment under medical necessity
  • Collect data, generate graphs to document behavior change over time
  • Produce program and progress updates with accuracy and timeliness
  • Conduct parent training sessions
  • Train ABA techs as needed to implement treatment plans


Qualifications and Skills

  • Current certification as a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA)
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
  • Prefer one-year experience designing, implementing and monitoring intervention programs for young children with ASD or developmental delays
  • Excellent working understanding of verbal behavior
  • Familiar with assessments such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
  • Willingness to travel on occasion if needed to support home programs
  • Experience collaborating with other service providers such as speech pathologists, occupational therapists

The KCC is seeking a full-time occupational therapist on a temporary basis, from approximately January through April, 2018.


Master’s degree and state registration/licensure is required.


Three years direct experience in pediatric occupational therapy is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.


Experience with sensory integration, oral-motor techniques, and Therapeutic Listening is preferred.

The KCC is seeking a full-time applied behavior analysis tech to work one-on-one with children experiencing autism spectrum disorders or other language and learning challenges.


Our ABA staff uses the principles and teaching procedures of applied behavior analysis/verbal behavior.


A four-year college degree is highly preferred.


Individuals should be self motivated, wonderful with children, and have a desire to learn.


Training is provided and is ongoing.


ABA experience is preferred. Practicum available.
